Peach Jam Reblooming Bearded Iris
24-36" tall x 18" wide. Peach Jam Reblooming Bearded Iris (Iris germanica) is a welcome addition to the mid-spring garden with its soft peachy petals and striking magenta highlights. Place this Iris where its unique pattern can be enjoyed. Blooming once in spring and later in fall, the vertical structure provided by its green blade-like foliage adds a clean line to the perennial bed. Plant with ornamental grasses, mid-season tulips, Allium, and daffodils and most especially, other Bearded Iris! Add Bearded Iris with different heights and bloom times for a non-stop spring display of color. Be sure to add in some late summer-blooming flowers such as Hummingbird Mint (Agastache) to accompany the second bloom. Bearded Iris is easy to care for, just be sure they are planted in well-draining soil with the tops of the rhizomes (bulbs) exposed to air. A sunny spot will ensure blooms. Pinch off faded blossoms to keep the flowers coming and cut off flower stems close to the base once flowering is finished.
