This gorgeous dwarf shrub takes the traditional panicle blossoms of Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) and quite literally turns them on their heads – giving it the appearance of a trained wisteria in the landscape. Unlike Wisteria, or many Butterfly Bushes, Buddleia davidii 'Wisteria Lane' PPAF won't get too big to handle, and can be used in beds or borders as a mid-sized accent. Gray-green foliage is covered in beautiful clusters of lilac-colored flowers in mid to late summer, and with regular deadheading it will continue to bloom through to autumn.
